CUPPING

Cupping is an ancient therapy that involves applying suction to muscular parts of the body. At this clinic, traditional glass cups are used. While it looks odd, mot people find this treatment relaxing and comfortable. Many people will request cupping after trying it for the first time.

Cupping is used to affect blood and fluid circulation. This can be affective for musculoskeletal problems. It is also used to affect acupuncture points and the traditional meridians running through the body.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy that involves burning moxa (mugwort) at certain points or areas of the body.

Moxa comes in many forms. It can be attached to a needle, rolled into a cigar-like stick or hand-moulded into cones.

Moxa is used to introduce heat and movement into the body.
